The Marine Cadets of Massachusetts is a non-profit organization and depend solely on donations and fundraising events for funding.  We receive NO FUNDING from the United States Marine Corps, Department of Defense or the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  Currently our cadets go out each year and raise funds through private donations to help offset the cost of uniform items, administrative materials, classroom materials, transportation costs and insurance.  If not for the generosity of ordinary people, the organization would be unable to exist.  We thank all of those who have contributed over the years. 

As of March 2011 we obtained our 501(c) 3 federal tax exemption status.  All donors will receive a receipt that can be used as a write off when filing your tax returns.
