Eight points to the Development of a Marine Cadet
1) Citizenship: To develop a sense of patriotism by providing sound knowledge and understanding of the history and government of the
2) Leadership: To develop an understanding of qualities important in the principles of leadership. The responsibilities and qualities of leadership are presented in a manner allowing the cadets to practice these principles in their activities.
3) Physical Fitness: To develop a healthy body and mind by instilling habits of daily exercise and a good diet. Cadets use the Marine Corps daily 7 workout program to maintain our physical fitness standards.
4) School: To help cadets become more aware of the importance of education. Cadets are required to show their report cards to staff members in order to ensure they don't fall behind.
5) Home & Outside Activities: To ensure cadets carry out daily chores, exercise respect for others and authority, and that they give back to the community. Communication between parents / guardians and our staff is an essential element in completing this important task.
6) Personal Habits: To develop neatness, cleanliness, responsibility and certain cultural habits that will make cadets better individuals.
7) Character: To emphasize honesty, integrity, good morals and ethics.
8) Drill: To develop coordination, esprit de corps and teamwork.
